– R. S. Walsh In The Garden donated $5,000 to The United Way of Lee County. A portion of every sale at the garden center from November – March was donated to The United Way. In The Garden matched donations up to $50 per person. All donors were also entered into prize drawings for plants and a self-contained fountain.
“We wanted to provide help for as many people as possible, and the United Way provided services to more than 300,000 people in our community last year,” said Lisa Walsh, owner of R.S. Walsh Landscaping and In The Garden. “We are grateful for our customers’ support and pleased to give to an organization that helps so many.”
The United Way is a collaborator and local funding entity that addresses issues and provides solutions within our community. The United Way helps more than 90 different partner agencies assist those in need.
