The Sanibel-Captiva Art League held their January 11 plein-air “Paint-Out” at R.S. Walsh’s In The Garden, the island’s retail garden center and outdoor showroom. The group meets Thursdays at different locations around the islands and will visit the garden center again on March 8.
“In The Garden is a favorite spot for our painters,” said Jim Storer, President of the Sanibel-Captiva Art League. “It is truly a tropical oasis with wandering paths and an amazing variety of display gardens. We find new subjects for our paintings each time we visit.”
“We always enjoy hosting the Sanibel-Captiva Art League at In The Garden.” said Robert Walsh, president of R.S. Walsh Landscaping. “We invite all local arts groups, garden clubs and nature groups to contact us to schedule a visit and tour.”
